OUR STORY

Severn Valley Flowers resides close to the River Severn, near Bridgnorth, South Shropshire. Home to beautiful cut flowers and foliage with which I create unique, seasonally led and artistic funeral flowers.

The garden began with rows of evergreen foliage, unusual annuals, vines, roses, and peonies whilst we focussed on finding the right perennials, all with the intention of harvesting robust and beautiful cut flowers, for the longest possible British season.

We provide you with a bespoke service which encompasses a compassionate and deeply personalised service.

MEET SARAH

I’m Sarah and with my husband, Harry, we transformed an already idyllic and peaceful part of our farm, in the rolling hills of South Shropshire, into a beautiful cut flower garden.

For many decades it was a productive, truly loved and well worked vegetable garden.

We grew the cutting garden into a reputable source for local event floristry, with floral workshops following in quick succession.

Severn Valley Flowers has since evolved to specialise in artistic funeral flowers.

Our passion and focus lies with our flowers and foliage being used to curate aesthetic funeral floral tributes to honour and celebrate the lives of those we have lost.

FAREWELL FLOWERS

My vision is to create a truly personalised service and a compassionate experience for family and friends dealing with the different elements of arranging a funeral - specifically the floral tributes.

I collaborate with you based on my personal values of compassion, sincerity and respect.

I take the time to listen to you talk about your loved one. I want to hear your stories, talk with you about your memories and find out what they loved - what made them so special to you, so I can curate a floral design fitting for their memory.
